1. Introduction

Thus you can enjoy any video anywhere, including on internet distribution, websites and blog sharing, DVD players, Portable players like iPod, iPhone, PSP, BlackBerry, Zune, Apple TV, Mobile 3GP, etc.

2. Installation Guide

Once you have finished downloading from the website, either click Run or locate and launch the downloaded file named ConvertGenius_Setup.exe to start the installation. Follow the instructions on the Convert Genius Setup Wizard screen; the brief steps are as follows:

1. Click Next on the Welcome to the Convert Genius Setup Wizard.
2. On the License Agreement screen, read the EULA, choose the option I accept the agreement and click Next.
3. On the Select Destination Location screen, select the location where Convert Genius is going to be installed and click Next.
4. On the Select Additional Tasks screen, click Next if needed, otherwise just leave the default selections.
5. Click Install on the Ready to Install screen if the setup summary is showing the expected description; otherwise, click Back if you want to review or change any settings.
6. Click Finish to complete the installation while launching Convert Genius.

3. Files Conversion

1. Firstly open the Convert Genius

 

2. Click on the Add Files button to add the files you want to convert from the drives where they are storied, then click Open. You can add more than one file to convert at one time.

3. Select the output device or format you wish to convert to.
Note: there are various data within each format for you to customize, with which you can have your files converted at the best condition. If you are not familiar enough with those options, it is suggested to leave the settings by default.

4. Specify the output folder. To change the existing output folder, just click on the "..." button to select a folder to save the file.

5. Click Convert Now to begin converting. If you want to abort the conversion process, click Stop.

6. When the conversion process finishes, click OK.

4. Remove

You can remove the file that you do not want to convert from the file list. Select the file by clicking on it first and click on the Remove Selected button at the bottom of the file list. To select multiple files, press and hold down the Ctrl key while you click each file you want to select. To remove all files in the list, just click on the Remove All button.

5. Configure Conversion Settings

When you specify an output device, Convert Genius will list multiple options of quality, codec and configurations for you to choose. Select an option you like from the list by clicking on it.

If you are experienced user and want to customize conversion settings manually for the best possible result, you can choose an output format such as MP4, MPEG, AVI and WMV rather than to choose an output device. Configure your conversion task by modifying the fields on the right side of the screen.

6. Register

The unregistered version of Convert Genius can only convert first 15 seconds of each video file. To unlock the limitation of unregistered version, you can click on the Register button on the top right of the interface to register it and enjoy the excellent experience Convert Genius provides.
